Can Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre be exiled with an instant?

I run an mill deck, once Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre is placed in the graveyard his ability triggers that allows the player to shuffle his graveyard into his library. If I play an instant, say Crypt Incursion, would this be effective in exiling Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre before he is shuffled back into the library?

Yes, that works, because this is a triggered ability. If you act in response to the trigger, you can exile ulamog. However, that will not stop the ability to shuffle into the library what is left in the graveyard, as abilities always try to do as much as they can.
