Boardstate and ETB

If I have a Dimir Doppelganger on the board and exile a Lotleth Giant or Ravenous Chupacabra does the ETB trigger or because it is already at board state when I activate the ability does the ETB not trigger?

Dimir Doppelganger is already on the battlefield - its ability can only be activated while it is on the battlefield - so there is no entering the battlefield happening.
For something to trigger an ETB ability, it would need to go from a different zone to the battlefield. For example, when you first cast Dimir Doppelganger it probably went from your hand to the stack and finally to the battlefield.
