bestow and CMC

I know that when you cast a spell with x in it's cost, that the CMC is whatever you paid for x plus the other mana symbols while it's on the stack. For example, Crater's Claws for x=3 would be a CMC of 4 while on the stack.
What I was wondering is if this is the same for alternate casting cost such as casting a Boon Satyr for it's bestow cost.
What is the CMC of Boon Satyr when it is bestowed??
ok that is good to know. I just wasn't sure if casting something for an alternate cost had a similar effect. Disdainful Stroke is a pain in the A** so I was just trying to make sure I could get around it.

A card's converted mana cost is always the value of all the mana symbols in the top right corner. The only difference with X spells like Crater's Claws is that X can finally get a determined value while the spell is on the stack. The CMC of a bestowed BOON SAYTR!!!!! on the stack will still be 3.
