If I attack with Awaken the Ancient is it able to be blocked since it's still a land? If so, then would the only way to get stop this would be to play something like Natural End ?
Thanks.

As long as the mountain is enchanted, it is treated as a creature. Attacking creatures can be blocked.

When a permanent has two different types, it follows the rules for all of those types. Attacking creatures can be blocked, regardless of their other types. Awaken the Ancient doesn't specify that the land/creature can't be blocked, so it can be blocked.
I'm not quite sure what you're asking in regards to Natural End .

He was asking, if therefore the animated land couldn't be blocked, if the only way to stop it hitting you would be to disenchant the Awaken the Ancient

Disenchanting the Awaken the Ancient would return the land to being a land purely, effectively stopping the attack. But he could also kill the enchanted land with any spell or abilities that let you destroy a 7/7 red giant creature.

Right.
Or a land. Thus, you could use something like Demolish or something like Ultimate Price . Natural End would disenchant the land, thus turning t back into a boring old land, but it would stay on the field. The other two would destroy the Land Creature itself, so it would go to the graveyard, along with the enchantment.

You don't attack with Awaken the Ancient you attack with the land, which has become a giant creature. As a creature the the 7/7 can be blocked as normal.
