Athreos and Ground Seal

If I have Athreos, God of Passage out and my opponent has Ground Seal out, and one of my creatures dies, does Athreos trigger?

Yes, Athreos triggers. A spell or ability only targets what it specifically says it does. Athreos' ability only targets the opponent, not the card in the graveyard. Ground Seal won't interfere with it.
