About Waste Not

First things first, I don't care if I didn't use a link to Waste Not. You all should know the card by now.

When you make your opponent(s) discard a instant, sorcery or a creature card, with Waste Not on the battlefield, do you still draw a card for it's third ability?

First things first, I personally don't really care that you didn't use a link to Waste Not but your attitude is atrocious. Fix it.

Instants and Sorceries don't count as creatures or lands, you can draw a card for that. When they discard a creature, first ability triggers.

Never assume that everyone knows the exact rules text for any given card. Except maybe basic lands. But some people don't even know there's implicit rules text on those. (Also, the tone on that part of the ask doesn't sound too kind. Watch yourself.) ANYWAY.

Waste Not

You only draw a card from Waste Not 's third ability if A. An opponent discards a card and B. Said card is a noncreature, nonland card. If they discard a creature or a land card, you don't draw a card from Waste Not. If they discard any other type of card, you do.

Note that a card like Ornithopter , which is an artifact, is also a creature, so you wouldn't draw a card from Waste Not if Ornithopter is discarded by your opponent.

Please link the cards in your question, there's a formatting guide at the bottom. You may know the card, but others may not.

Waste Not 's 3rd ability cares about the discarded card's type, specifically about it being a noncreature and nonland card. It will only trigger if the discarded card is neither a creature nor a land. So an instant or sorcery would trigger it, but a creature would only trigger the first ability.

You should care about using a link. If you're asking a community for help, you could at least not be an asshole. It took you far more effort to write out your little notice than it would have for you to link the card.

Ahh, the benevolence of the TappedOut community. You can plainly be a jerk, and still get help.

Lucky guy.
