2x Defense Grid effect on mana cost

If you have 2 Defense Grid in play, are the effects cumulative and make spells cost 6 more? Or is it like Trinisphere where it only looks at the original cost of the spell? Thanks in advance.

The effects are cumulative because they add an additional cost instead of setting the cost.
