+1/+1 counters on Ajani's Pridemate

Imagine I have Ajani's Pridemate and Soul Warden on the field. I play Raise the Alarm. This triggers Soul Warden's effect, giving me 2 life.

But the question is, how many +1/+1 counters does Ajani's Pridemate get? Does it get one, because one instance of gaining life occurred? Or does it get two, one for each creature created by Raise the Alarm?

You gain 2 counters.

Ajani's Pridemate triggers for each instance of lifegain, no matter the amount of lifegain.
In this scenario, you cast a Raise the Alarm, it resolves and 2 soldier creature tokens enter the battlefield. Soul Warden sees 2 creatures enter the battlefield and triggers 1 time for each creature that enters the battlefield, which is 2 in this case. This results in 2 instances of lifegain and thus you gain 2 counters.
