Once you go Black

Hi guys! I am November Frost, new to Magic and new to this site. I don't know what else to say here that wouldn't repeat what my Decklist says. If any of you could spare the time, I would greatly appreciate the help!

I took a look at your deck and made a few suggestions. Try proxying up the build that Dev uses in his SbMTG video and compare how the two versions feel when you play them. I've not played your version, but I tried his and loved it when it worked. I found it to be a "go big or go home" sort of deck where the payoff is high, but the chances of success aren't great.

I don't think you're running enough black mana to properly support your deck. You need a minimum of 20 sources by turn 2 to support Grasp of Darkness reliably and you're running 19.5. Mortuary Mire comes into play tapped, so it's effectively a 1 CMC mana dork with summoning sickness. Certainly not the worst thing ever, but not the same value as a Swamp.

Apparently links don't work. These are the articles I tried to link in my previous post.

I found those interesting reads. Morturary Mire didn't really do much for me anyhow (not many creatures to get back) I'll definitely swamp one for the other (i know im terrible XD)
