Loses Indestructible: a new Red ability?

Red is often considered a weak colour: yes it deals direct damage to creature and/or player (famously Lightning Bolt, Inferno, and more recently Magmaquake) . It has some land and artifact removal. But nothing to destroy enchantments, nor spells that exile stuff, or (instant) card draw without drawback (yes I look at you Shattered Perception ) .

Then there's : Burn from Within. Another direct damage card, sure. But also one that causes a creature to lose 'indestructible' (to quote the key word).

What do you think: would this be a new, decent, ability to strengthen Red a bit?

Honestly, no. Indestructible is barely an issue standing in red's way from making it as strong as the other colors in commander, the format where it is the weakest compared to the other colors compared to the other formats. In that format, it has very few tutors. And it should. I think it should have more anti-tutors, and then it would be fantastic. (Similarly, white should have more anti-draw.)

Red isn't a weak color in most formats. Black also can't interact with enchantments and there are plenty of red damage spells that exile if the creature would die. Additionally exiling permanents is something white and to a lesser extent black do. It isn't something that every color is going to do every set.

Personally, I admit it, I really like playing Red. Though I do think that in many sets there was an overly focus on the chaotic nature of red to the extend that one could think it was the only defining characteristic (looking at Chaos Harlequin). Unjust I think. Yes red is chaotic, nor should it not be. But it is also fire, heat, passionate, impulsive, aggressive, strength, earth, lightning, etc... The latest sets have made red a bit more balanced (at least, I hope to think so) .

True: Red doesn't have many tutor spells (and the one it has mostly have adrawback). But I think that Red could also do with draw (without drawbacks) . But against an indestrucible creature (in particular Eldrazi, or some indestructible artifact) suddenly Red strength also becomes its weakness: it deals damage...it destroys...while at times it also needs to evaporate stuff I think (and by this I don't mean the very weak Evaporate card :) ).
