So let's say you're at a PPTQ or a Limited GP and you open one of the Zendikar Expedition lands in your Sealed Pool. Do you drop so you can keep the card, or do you pass the pool? What land(s) would you have to open to drop?

I realize this is similar to the MM15 "Do you drop for Tarmogoyf?" problem, but this is a promo you can only get by opening packs. There are other tarmogoyfs, there isn't another way of getting these lands.

EDIT Specified the scenario I am talking about.

I tend to be a value drafter and try to do the best i can. I rather try and lose than just give up the chance to win some free packs.

You can buy a promo in the same way you can buy a goyf?

Drafting a land is usually a good idea anyway.

Just added a specification where I'm talking about opening a sealed pool. No one would blame you for picking one in a draft.

If it can buy me another couple of draft side events and a new modern deck (so if it's a Scalding Tarn or Polluted Delta) then yeah, I drop. Otherwise, pass it because playing in a GP is more important to me. However, I would never play in a limited GP because lolwhywastemytime, so I guess it isn't really relevant.

I'm going to say take the land, because in a sense, it's more valuable than a goyf. And, you know, it's beautiful.

If you pay for your own cards, you take the land.

If you don't pay for your own cards, you don't take it (unless it benefits the pool you're using) i think that's fair

We also haven't seen where the prices will settle at. Much of it will depend on that.

Why do you have to drop to keep the card? Can't you just play it and keep it?

Gorgosaurusrex: Not at a sealed GP. You open your cards and can choose to keep them or pass them to someone else.
