Waste lands at pre release

At pre release, you are allowed to use basic lands that aren't drawn for obvious reasons.
But how is this going to work with Wastes and Colourless Mana?
You can only get up to Six wastes, so how is anyone going to effectively use colourless mana creatures?

The oath of the gatewatch pre release will have two bfz packs so could potentially contain 8 wastes (183 and 184 in all 4 oath of the gatewatch.)

BFZ has 10 cards in it that add colorless excluding scions, of which there are plenty. OTG's spoiled cards so far add 9 plus wastes plus more scions, and it's likely when fully revealed will have more.
(bear with me if I miscounted but it's the idea of the matter)

OGW is also recommended by wizards to be a 2hg prerelease, so that could mean twice as many opportunities for wastes.

Shuffle, 2HG isn't a shared card pool to build from.
Honestly, I don't see Wastes being played much in Limited with all the other lands available for Mana fixing that also Tap for C. Personally, I'd rather swing with a Blisterpod or Carrier Thrall only to have it die than play a Wastes.

shuflw is correct. Just like in Team Sealed, you open packs and share the pool. Actual 2HG is 8 packs, but for the prerelease you'll each get the 6 pack setup and build from the 12 total packs.

Karns_Pyromancer: sealed 2HG is definitely a shared pool. Each player gets 6 packs.
I came to this thread expecting it to be about playing with expedition Wastelands at the prerelease. Playing with Wastes makes more sense.

Wastes are opened in the packs and they will not be distributed otherwise. BUT, Wastes are printed twice at common being cards 183 and 184, so you could get a sealed pool of 12 Wastes. It's highly unlikely, but you could get that Sealed pool.
