Could Arcum's Astrolabe get a ban in legacy?

I'm pretty confident it will eventually happen. Everything that enables 4c greed piles (DRS, W6, now Astrolabe) to brazenly ignore Wasteland and friends has proved problematic.
In the immediate future? I (unfortunately) doubt it.

This is almost like a certainty in my playgroup. Everyone around here hates this card and the guys I play with are actually very good, we got people who played Pro Tours and level 2 judges in my LGS and the opinion is unanimous: Astrolabe is too strong!
Even pro players are asking for this ban, so WotC might hear them out in the near future...
I expect it to be banned in like 6 months or so, just so people can realize how ridiculously strong this card is as it provides mana fixing, card draw and immunity to wasteland effects for a single mana and it isn't even tied to a specific color...
I think this card might have been a try from WotC to make the format less dependant on Old Duals, but it ended up being something that warps the format around it as 4C or 5C Snow Control lists started to pop up everywhere...
