Hey guys, I have a question about Windbrisk Heights .
I've recently been playing w/ this card in my Knight Themed deck. On occasion I would look at the top 4 cards and exile a True Conviction . A turn goes by and I would swing w/ my Hero of Bladehold . I would technically be attacking w/ 3 creatures. Now, here is where I get confused. On the card it states "...if you ATTACKED with three or more creatures..." Not if you are ATTACKING. Is it the same thing? Or is there a certain step or phase where it's considered changed?
Anyways, After I declared my attackers, I would sometimes be unblocked, in which case I would play the exiled True Conviction at instant speed before damage was assigned and occasionally win the game.
I would like to know if I'm being a noob and using the card incorrectly? If so, I have a couple friends to apologizes to. Haha.

Nice! Well... except for the fact that Hero of Bladehold creates tokens which "entered the battlefield attacking." So, that kinda sucks in my opinion. But whatever, I'm glad I got that cleared up. Thanks yank!

I'm afraid you are using it incorrectly, but it's an entirely understandable mistake.
From the Oracle rulings for Windbrisk Heights:
10/1/2007 At the time the ability resolves, you'll get to play the card if you declared three different creatures as attackers at any point in the turn. A creature declared as an attacker in two different attack phases counts only once. A creature that entered the battlefield attacking (such as a token created by Militia's Pride) doesn't count because you never attacked with it.The last sentence is the most significant here.Things that are "put onto the battlefield attacking" are never attacked with - that's a specific game term indicating that it was declared as an attacker during the attack step. Creatures like the Hero's soldiers, or anything else that's simply put "onto the battlefield tapped and attacking", are never declared as attackers during the attack step, they just come into being already on their way. This is NOT one of Magic's more intuitive rules, and it's completely reasonable that you've been playing it the other way - honestly, it feels a lot more logical to do it the way you have - but that's unfortunately the way it is.(I had to look this up to double-check that I was was saying the right thing myself, since my gut told me that you were right at first, so don't feel bad.)

oops forgot that it was only the hero that was attacking nothing else.

This should have been posted in the Question and Answer section. But, nice job on resolving the issue.

Yeah, thanks for pointing that out MagnorCriol. I do think that is a little bogus, but whatever. There's no point in fretting about it, the rules are "set in stone." I'll just accept it and move on, Haha.
My bad "is the word". I'll make sure to post in the correct section next time. (Btw, I can't link your name for some reason, the first character won't show up, at all.)
If there's a mod out there, feel free to move or delete this thread.

I agree with Zungx, the hex parasite is by far one of the greatest cards of NP hands down. That thing eats planeswalkers, eats infect points from your creatures , eats +1/+1 counters from the opponent's, eats counters from anything and everything and everybody, and even gets more power out of it. And at 1 cmc it's just brutal how much impact it'll have on the PW game.
And with the Revoker around, it almost feels like they're setting the countermeasures for some really nasty walkers in the near future (Liliana and Garruk 2.0).
