I won a Born of the Gods booster at my LGS the other night and when I opened it I was faced with this:

Is it common for a smaller set to have lands from the larger set in the block?

There is only basic lands in the first set of each extension, so for exemple in Oath we'll be getting BfZ basics (exepted for wastes, obviously). ;)

By the way, even if it's completly off-subject I wanted to ask you something: are your French? The ending of your username is an ending common to some French words, and French only so I was wondering.... x')

I wouldn't be surprised if Oath just had Wastes for the basic lands slot actually.

Dorotheus it's already been confirmed that Wastes will not be in the basic slot. Instead, there are two copies in the commons of the set. This is because of limited, wherein, if it was in the basic land slot, you could add any number to your limited deck. As it stands, you have to actively draft them.

elpokitolama I am not French but I have spent a lot of time in Paris and I speak French (poorly).

I love the show Xena and her horse is called Argo.

Some friends were mucking around one night online and "Frenchifying" words, and they decided to change my mind hten user name from Argo to Argeaux.

I liked it and it's stuck.
