if you play Simic Growth Chamber chamber first turn does it bounce itself back to your hand?

For a more technical answer :
You can play it, without issue. However, you MUST return a land to your hand for it to fully "resolve" onto the battlefield. Since it is the only land on the battlefield at the time the trigger takes place; you must return it to your hand.
You cannot tap it for mana before it returns to your hand, for clarity. I've had one to many people try to tell me that this is possible.

The main reason you can't tap it for mana before it bounces itself is because it enters already tapped. You might be able to get mana out if it if you have an Amulet of Vigor out, but how you would do that on the first turn, I have no clue. But it would work like this (on a later turn, perhaps):
- Play Simic Growth Chamber
- Simic Growth Chamber
's ETB triggers, as well as Amulet of Vigor
's triggered ability. You control both, and put them on the stack in whichever order you choose. Put the Chamber's trigger first, then the Amulet's above it, so the Amulet resolves first.
- Amulet of Vigor
's trigger resolves, untapping Simic Growth Chamber
. Immediately tap the Chamber for mana.
- Simic Growth Chamber 's ETB trigger resolves, bouncing the Chamber back to your hand.
Other than that setup, though, you can't get mana out of the Chamber before it bounces itself, and I don't know of a way to start the game with the Amulet already on the battlefield.

Yes, it bounces itself back to your hand since its the only land you control.
