Scry target opponent

i think this would be a great modification to the scry ability to affect your opponent draw this will buy you time to win , what you guys think? would it be good?

It would be neat. Early game would be no where near as helpful as late game.

There is an ability that does this. It is called fateseal. Spin into Myth and Mesmeric Sliver are the only two cards I know of with this ability.

Wizards made it and decided it didn't make the game more fun so vowed to never make any other card with such an ability

Dimir Charm can also be used to do this.

@ifired and then they printed Jace, the Mind Sculptor . Fateseal every turn? For free? Sure, why not.

@Ruric he was referring to the +2, I know it's hard to believe you would use any other abilities, but they're still there.

[Fateseal] removes all hope from any opponents expecting victory.

Its at its best when jace +2 for the win or spin into myth is amazing in commander
