Glad I got mine at $5 ea, now they're about $9.

Interesting that Loam's on the upswing since it's been reprinted multiple times. Is this due to Lands in legacy, or is Loam seeing more Modern play?

Probably because it's a broken Magic card.

It's a great magic card with appeal to competitive and casual players, it probably can sneak up in price for awhile, if I remember right it used to be a $20 card before reprints knocked it down.

Are people experimenting with dredge more? This may be a reason.

Dunno, I haven't seen a really good (competitive) loam deck in a while. Here's hoping!

Lol, I ran a Loam package in modern for a few weeks.

2x Life from the Loam + 3x Ghost Quarter in a watered down Jund list.

Kills. Tron. Metas.

the new Knight of the Reliquary x Retreat to Coralhelm combo probably is in demand for at least one sideboard loam per deck

Between the slowly rising number of legacy players getting interested in decks like Lands, people experimenting with Dredge in modern, and just overall modern budget deck hype, it's reasonable that a card that hasn't been printed in a few years is on the upswing. Not to mention those new utility lands in BFZ, i'm super pumped to draw two and draw two and draw two and draw two...
