Lighthouse Chronologist + Magosi, the Waterveil Combo
Deck Help forum

How would this work out? It seems that if you were to level Lighthouse Chronologist up to 7, then use your extra turn to put a counter on Magosi, the Waterveil, you would eventually be able to take many, many turns at once. This could cause terrible, terrible damage. I guess my questions are "has it been done?", "does it work?", and if so, how could I build a deck around that to make it really powerful?

I actually built a deck that used Throne of Geth , Pentavus and Magosi, the Waterveil to take infinite turns, until I actually read Magosi and realized it won't stay in play after I crack it. Em-Bar-Ass-Ing. Big time.

If you had an untap engine you could take infinite turns...

sadly enough, you couldnt. Because return to your hand is part of cost of activated ability. so before you can react, you have magosi in your hand already...

well there is a card(i can not remember it right now) but when ever something would come into play tapped, it comes into play untapped instead

Magosi, the Waterveil & Lighthouse Chronologist
no, you wouldn't be able to exploit it like that because you have to return Magosi, the Waterveil to your hand if you remove an eon counter from it
also, i think you're misreading Lighthouse Chronologist . your extra turn via the Chronologist, would come after your oppnent's turn. like so: your turn, opponents turn, [extra turn], your turn, opponents turn, [extra turn], your turn.....
if you were to put a counter on Magosi, the Waterveil , say on your extra turn, you would have to skip your next turn, which would be the regular turn you would have gotten anyway.
at least, i'm pretty sure thats how it works.
because i'm sure its never been done before, either because it can't happen, or its too convoluted for players to deal with.
