Another plausible incursion is collective brutality.

I'm a strong advocate for this card it has been just fantastic for me.

I honestly have considered including Collective Brutality. I just cannot decide what it could replace and not take away from the deck. The other problem is besides Lingering Souls, I cannot discard too profitably. However, if you have an idea of what I should cut, I would happily playtest it.

On a side note, checked out your decks. They look sweet, I have always wanted Sultai to be a more prevalent color combo, and I think you are certainly onto something with your builds!

That is the beauty of collective brutality is its an extremely flexible card. Later game you can discard excess lands or dead discard spells ectr.

As for where to fit the card cut a land and a sorin perhaps?

Thank you(!) for the complements. Please feel free to leave comments, questions or critiques on my decks,as they are up here to be talked about.

Nice deck! Just to let you know though, when an opponent casts a planeswalker, they have priority to activate a loyalty ability before you can respond with anguished unmaking. It is still a great card though, I use it myself!

Really? That's interesting, I thought since it was activated at sorcery speed we would be given priority, but I can see how that would be incorrect. Thanks for that, I'll update the description!

How has Rest in Peace been working for you? I realize it is great against a lot of decks that rely upon the graveyard, but I didn't know if it led to problems with Lingering Souls. One interesting thing I'd at least try playtesting is taking out the Gideon, Ally of Zendikar and replacing it with Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet. It supplies you tokens, gives you lifegain, and is mainboard grave hate that doesn't affect Lingering Souls negatively. It may be a meta call to keep Gideon in rather than Kalitas though.

Rest in Peace is crucial against graveyard heavy decks. And honestly, taking away from Lingering Souls' value isn't that big of a deal, our deck has many ways to spit out tokens that it is a price that is relatively easy to make. Lowering the value of 4 cards in our deck is a worth it when the card completely destroys entire decks.

Kalitas is an interesting idea, and I can see your reasoning. However, he is more vulnerable than Gideon is, and less flexible. Thank you for the idea though!
