This is why control decks must be destroyed.
Lands that can't be countered can beat these control decks to death game 1, or just sit and produce mana in any other deck.
Thrun, the Last Troll is the only thing I know of that can beat control.

Elixir of Immortality can easily shuffle your graveyard into your hand so you dont mill yourself to death

Green is probably better at fogging than white cause there are some "don't untap" clauses built in and still quality fogs.
