Some rounds of playtesting —March 13, 2016

Did very well against an updated ezuri commander deck. Could keep every single hand, so maybe I'm dropping the land sorceries. I took our blade of selves and got damnation a spot, because we played 1vs. 1 ~cheers

why not add the maze's end mana base ? with guildgates ?

Thanks for your suggestion, which cards would you cut out for them?

I personally think they are weaker than my actual lands, because they enter the battlefield tapped all the time, the shocklands and checklands are mostly untapped when they enter the field, and I don't see a benefit if I change them for the tri-lands which contain 3 colours and the vivid lands which are also very useful for the early game:)

Conspiracy is awesome, it makes everything even a non-Ally into an Ally to trigger the Rally effects. It really excels when you combo it with Artificial Evolution + Rooftop Storm .

That allows you to change Rooftop Storm text from Zombies to Allies. Then you can cast all Allies for free. If you can combo Bounce General Tazri then you get her tutoring straight to the Battlefield. There are plenty of infinite mana/infinite bounce combos with Deadeye Navigator.

@iAzire thanks for your input, I know there are plenty of infinite combos, but it is more a deck to play against my friends so it wouldn't be fun to mainly search these combos, for me and for them.

Never mind if I would try a more competitive deck, I would probably take them in :)

Aless55 Tribal decks are usually not very competitive anyway. Allies are one of the more weaker tribes on top of that. You don't have to specifically look for the combos but it doesn't hurt to include them. Also if you have the combo out, you don't have to do infinite blink effects, you can always just do whatever the mana you have out can produce.

Some infinite combos are unstoppable but many just go infinite due to increased effort from the player. You can still use the cards as just a really good combo and never go infinite with it.

That is more of a challenge, I actually have yet to finish building my Ally Tribal so I'm currently not sure what is good and what isn't as I haven't done my own play testing yet.

I know that regardless of the combo, Conspiracy should go in somewhere. It allows you to run Non-Ally in the deck, still trigger Rally and Tutor any creature in your deck with Tazri. Deadeye Navigator being the key creature I'm thinking of for great Tutoring with Tazri. You just really don't get much better blinking than with Deadeye.

I would just put everything I've suggested into the Maybeboard at least for now. Either after your own play testing or mine we can figure out just what pulls it's weight and what doesn't.
