Thanks, ilikeoldcardsbetter. I'm actually pleasantly surprised at how reliably I can get something big by turn three. I know there are improvements I can make, though, and I don't know what I'd modify to make it legal outside of legacy.

awesome deck but what makes me sad about cool decks built to a them and a single fun win con is that if someone uses Cranial Extraction or Surgical Extraction it is pretty much shut down but you can't avoid this I am not putting the deck down i just thought i'd mention it. +1 from me for a fun themed deck

maiden77You're right. I constantly fall into the trap of thinking that a combo/theme deck has to hinge on one card, but that does indeed make it vulnerable. Granted, the point of the deck is to have those Kavu out and swinging pretty fast, so ideally I'd get them on the field before they'd be subject to the removal spam spells, but that's a big if. My quest for my ideal deck continues.

Another card you could add, more like for instances of extractions, is Rain of Gore . It does have a bit of a shining with this deck.

Zarum You're right, Rain of Gore would work nicely in this deck. I'm thinking I might have to cut one of the colors for an easier manabase. I might add more black and drop white, in which case that card's a probable yes.

However, the wording of Rain of Gore means my stuff won't hurt them because they control it. False Cure , on the other hand. . . .

Take out Beacon of Immortality., it is not really useful. It only procs once for Kavu Predator, and it does not work with false cure (they do not gain life, it just doubles the number)

Wit, my bad, they do gain life from beacon of immortality. But nonetheless, it is a high mana cost and is really not as effective. And I think you could runa glistener elf or 2. That is an easy turn two win with invigorate

slowtyper77 You may have a point with that mana cost. I just really like the idea of burst 'curing' them if they remove/kill the predators. Granted, Glistener Elf could be a great addition. As the deck is now, I don't really have a one-drop and I don't really need the mana ramp.
