For a deck like this, you could probably forego a discard engine in favor of other madness cards, like maybe Falkenwrath Gorger.

May I ask about the purpose of Exquisite Firecraft? Are there any better options for removal here?

Daedalus19876, I'm not sure if the Exquisite Firecraft is the right card for my sideboard (hence my asking for suggestions!) However, the reason I put it in was for control matchups where I wanted to have burn spells that couldn't be countered.

If you worry about counterspells (and the budget can bear it), use Cavern of Souls.
