Needs much draw —July 15, 2019
Went 1-3. But almost all very competitive games! Overall I’m very happy with the flow and the concept, a lot of the cards have great synergy and I got a lot of compliments.
1: mono-blue tron! Held my own and nearly decked the opp both games, but they came through with a walking ballista in two games. 2: jund wren & six: first game nearly decked opp but I got stuck on three lands and couldn’t finish getting rid of their spells fast enough. 2nd game I cruised through exiling all 4 bolt, lili, and ass trophy, had kaya & ashiok on the board and they scooped. 3rd game I got stuck on two lands and never got anything going. 3: orzhov eldrazi combo: slammed them my first game with ashiok into kaya’s ult for 25, got mana screwed 2nd game and ran over, 3rd game started off back and forth but opp got creature after creature and kept me outpaced. 4: azorius infect: first of all I really liked opp’s deck of equipment+infect, they got through me a bunch the first game with “non-basic landwalk” and the 2nd game I went thoughtseize into extirpate into two unmoored ego before they had much on the board and I smoothly sailed out of it. last game the two big walls came out early and staved things off while kaya did work picking off all the tiny critters. kaya does work
in the end though a lot of my problems came down to not getting through more of my deck and I really need cheap card draw. thinking about narset or serum visions.

Been testing around with a few other options, at first I was trying to be more reactive and slow and play more instants, but now I'm looking at balancing a few more toolbox cards in like Doomfall , Thought Erasure , and Thoughtseize . I'm also thinking of picking up some Extirpate to bolster the targeted exiling, which will go well with Thought Erasure and Thoughtseize.
Additionally I'm trying to figure out a sideboard for this. Not sure yet how that'll go so any advice is helpful!
