MTG Combo: Mystic Retrieval + Narset's Reversal + Time Warp

This would be an infinite combo that gives infinite turns, but it doesn't actually work.

Rule 702.33a: “If the flashback cost was paid, exile this card instead of putting it anywhere else any time it would leave the stack.”

Here's how the combo would work if Narset's Reversal allowed one to return a flashbacked Mystic Retrieval to hand.

  • Cast Time Warp.
  • Next turn, cast Mystic Retrieval targeting Time Warp. Cast Time Warp.
  • Next turn, flashback Mystic Retrieval, hold priority, in response cast Narset's Reversal targeting Mystic Retrieval. Mystic Retrieval goes into your hand, Narset's Reversal goes into the graveyard with the copy of Mystic Retrieval on the stack. The copy targets Narset's Reversal in the grave, returning it to hand. You now have Mystic Retrieval and Narset's Reversal in hand. Cast Mystic Retrieval targeting Time Warp. Cast Time Warp.
  • Next turn, repeat the previous step.

This would take a total of (14 total mana) to do.
