StoryArcher on Mono-Green Enchantress Aggro (premodern)
The deck is here: Mono-Green Enchantment Aggro (premodern)
So I'm taking my fondness for mono-colored decks and trying to parley the Enchantress drawing mechanic into a sort of quasi control/aggro hybrid. The end game tends to be swinging big via Mask of Ancestors or swinging wide with lots of bears via Words of Wilding.
The things I'm looking for suggestions on are:
- 1) What are the right mix of 'Hidden' creatures for the premodern meta?
- 2) Any suggestions on any green enchantment cards I might be missing out on?
- 3) Whether it would be worth mixing in a splash of red for Stormbind and/or Natural Emergence. I'm thinking Stormbind yes, Natural Emergence no.
- 4) Sideboard recommendations.
I also don't have much main deck defense to speak of - apart from slowing my opponent down with the threat of hidden creatures - but I feel like the efficiency of keeping it pretty much all enchantments, the vast majority of them 1 CMC, is worth that trade off. Any additional thoughts are also welcome.
