How exactly can you use Drana's Chosen ability without other allies but another Drana's Chosen? Makes triggering it's ability more trouble than it's worth. My recommendation is to add some token summoning cards, like Lingering Souls or maybe even Dragon Fodder, abuse the creature summoning ability of Purphoros and the Soul sisters and then when you have a nice field full of little chumps drop a Descent of the Dragons lategame and watch your opponent squirm.

We are both well aware how dual cost mana symbols works. And yes, I did indeed think of using instant speed fight cards, but the extra power up is very beneficial, especially if they are used with predator ooze in their early summon stages, because then I can put another counter on it if the force fighting causes the enemy creatures death. That being said, I might reconsider it if I get my hands on some Pounce since they are rather easy to acquire at the moment.

PS! Picture is Leatherback Baloth btw

Also, I forgot to mention, but green actually has some pretty decent removal, some of the best even. Beast Within to destroy ANYTHING, Nature's Way is great single target removal, altho it's sorcery speed, it is still better then force fighting, because enemy creatures might have Deathtouch or Lifelink, and you don't wanna lose your hydra's and again, because your hydras almost always will have +1/+1 counters on them, Mutant's Prey might be a better choice compared to your Prey Upon, because it is instant speed and not a sorcery, allowing you to use it whenever you want. Naturalize to get rid of pesky Artifacts and enchantments, Raking Canopy if flyers are giving you trouble or instead Aquastrand Spider. Bonds of Mortality if you are facing somebody that likes to ruin your day with Indestructible and Hexproof cards.

Arbor Elf + Utopia Sprawl for mana ramp. Another mana ramp card would be Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, but it works best with devotion, so green symbol heavy hydra's like Khalni Hydra are more useful. Considering that most Hydra's play around with +1 counters, consider Hardened Scales. Which brings me to Protean Hydra and Feral Hydra, two amazing Hydra's that play around a lot with counters and you can pump a crapload of mana into them early on. On another note, you need card draw because Hydra's will be extremely demanding, so you need to keep your cards flowing, thus I recommend Triumph of Ferocity, since if you play it right, you should always have the superior monster, thus this will enable you extra draw OR go for Single use card draw spells like Inspiring Call, since if you play it right, most of your hydras if not all of them should have a +1 counter on them. And finally, you need some kind of protection, having big beasties is good and all, but they are nothing in the face of blatant "eff off" removal cards, so throw in some Blossoming Defense and/or Vines of Vastwood, if you don't wanna focus on single protection spells, you might consider Asceticism for a full board protection.

PS! Heart Warden, Vow of Wildness, Sol Ring are not Modern legal.

Currently Khalni Hydra is out of my budget. So I went with Primalcrux instead.
