Heroic Intervention is crazy good... Kinda ridiculous actually.
If he goes humans, that opens it up a lot and can go in any number of ways... But yea, both Sigarda angels would be great fits, especially Heron's Grace since its so much cheaper.

There are some good white creature (Dwarf) cards in Aether Revolt for crewing vehicles. I agree with mick, you want some double-strike.
For my Black/White vehicle deck, I brought down the crew costs to 2 or less for my vehicles. This helps the situation where you can get stuck not being able to crew something. White also has an instant or sorcery (forget which) card that returns an artifact from the graveyard directly to play for 4... I think that could fit nicely in here if you go with the banzi 6/1 guy like I did.
Lastly 1-2 Sunhome, Fortress of the Legion might fit in here, for a cheap land with doublestrike utility.

I modified Colin's same deck to go Green/Red with Energy... I think you should go a different direction... perhaps even mono-green.
I'll look at it more later, but I think the blue cards are kinda weak. For example, Malfunction is horrible for its CMC, needs to be replaced with something better.

Where is the plainswalker? Didn't this have that 6CMC Nissa in it? I'd think you'd want to keep that in there as she was pretty good.

Lol, what card was that? Did I play it or Dave? I can't think of a card like that.

Ohh damn, nice catch mick... I missed that it must be a creature card to be discarded for the Lotleth Troll. That kinda weakens the madness aspect right there, except for the Big Game Hunter and Voldaren Pariah Flip. I mean, there are only 3 other madness cards besides those in the deck, so maybe keep it around with these creatures, but replace the Strength of Lunacy and Murderous Compulsion with 3 Eternal Witness or Reclamation Sage. (Luckily they were like 25c cards), or keep the Strength of Lunacy in there... lots of ppl playing white these days. But back to Mick's point, Choke becomes a situational card at best, that could be completely dead in your hand.
I think the deck is good, but he needs to keep his big creatures... Bow of Nylea is great since he has a few tramplers in there. Lots of direction he can go with it.
Golgari Charm is worth a consideration too.

Jund and Junk decks are the Black/Green modern decks that are pushing up the prices of those lands mick suggested. IMO, its not worth it in our casual play-group to invest in land cards that cost $30 each, unless its a "one-of" for a specific reason... like Tolarian Academy, Academy Ruins or cheater Karakas
I guess you just have to figure out what direction you want this deck to go... Aggro Madness or just straight Aggro. I like the madness direction, as makes the deck more fun to play.

Seems like Ingot Chewer is just aching to be in this deck. I like it, and may make a version of my own based off your work. Nicely done. +1

OK a few things looking a this now...
Fatal Push is great for Standard right now which is why its so expensive, but I don't think its great for this deck. I think there are better black removal spells.
Yes, balance your mana... Not sure why, but the mana graphs are not showing for me, but if you can see them then just even them out.
March 13, 2017 2:45 p.m.
Awesome List... Shouldn't Academy Ruins go under the Legendary Lands though, and not utility? Or in both spots (kinda like you have the Nexus lands in 2 places).
March 13, 2017 2:23 p.m.
After play testing a few times, your mana seems messed up. Its not showing me the mana graph for some reason, but you need more green. I'd probably go with this for lands:
- 4x Woodland Cemetery
- 11x Forest
- 7x Swamp
And now that you added the Cultivates that should help... I dunno what it is about the crack/shock lands in this deck... the just didn't seem to work for me. This will also bring down the $$$ price considerably.
I feel you should put the trolls back in and go with some madness triggers... It will make the deck more fun to play, and actually fits kinda well. Even though you only had 2, I was getting the trolls a lot, and discarding lands to trigger it (I'd much rather discard a spell I could cast). Just a thought anyways. Big Game Hunter is actually pretty awesome because it fits the CoCo theme of this deck.

Madness cards to consider:
March 11, 2017 5:38 p.m.
As an alternative to Abrupt Decay there is Putrefy... Its 1 more CMC, but cheaper in terms of $$, less restrictive and has the no-regen thing. Abrupt Decay is a Modern Staple, where everyone uses small creatures, not so much in our format.
You can also save a lot of $$ by ditching the Blooming Marsh and Overgrown Tomb and just go with more forests and swamps... maybe throw 1-2 Cultivate or Kodama's Reach. The Blooming Marsh and Overgrown Tomb are really meant for competitive Modern play, but our format is a little different. They would be better, but not for the $$$ for our play style.
This deck is very creature heavy... And with the Lotleth Troll discard trigger, you might find your self top-decking. You may want to drop a few creatures for some Harmonize. And if you keep the Troll, maybe look into some Black or Green cards with Madness, so if you discard it you can cast it. I'm mostly familiar with Red Madness, but I think Black has a few good ones as well. I think Black has a 1 CMC Madness card, deal 3 damage and gain 3 life, or something along those lines. Not sure about Green.
Looking at the goal of this deck... I looks to be built around CoCo Collected Company and Agro... So I really think the Cultivates and Harmonize would help thin the deck and push it.
Lastly, Sol Ring is good in any deck, but not so much in this one, unless you add Harmonize/Cultivate as suggested.
I'll look at it more later, when I have more time, but that's my initial thoughts... I like it.

I mean, we are vintage, and Tinker is redistricted in Vintage, which means 1 per deck... but the card is pure bullshit IMO. You are right about Natural Order too, kinda fucked up, but I've never seen him bring out anything ridiculous with it.
As for my Platinum deck, I wouldn't use it to get Platinum Emperion or Platinum Angel, I'd use it to get Darksteel Forge on Turn 2 or 3, which is crap IMO for a 9 CMC card. If Colin is putting that shit in, then I have no choice but to put it in my deck as well, but I'd rather not do these arm's race kinda shit. If a card is sooo broken, that its banned in every format but Vintage (the least restrictive format), then its probably too fucked up for use in casual play... which is really what our playgroup is.
March 11, 2017 2:57 p.m.
Just go to gatherer and read the comments on Tinker. The designers were out of their minds when they printed that card... Even though no artifacts existed at the power that they do today when Tinker was released, it was still way overpowered.
March 10, 2017 11:23 a.m.
+1 for the idea... I like it and may change my Descent of the Dragons deck to be something more like this. I use Dragon Tempest in my DoD deck, not sure if that really fits here though... just thought I'd throw it out there.
March 9, 2017 4:04 p.m.
OK, so I'm going to get on a soapbox here, and say that Tinker is a bullshit card... I purposely didn't use it in my Platinum Deck, because it is so broken. Tolarian Academy is acceptable IMO, because 1) it costs 30 bucks and 2) you still have to do some work to get it going... /off_soapbox.
Leyline of Anticipation is a good way to get around the "wait a turn" issue Mick brought up. I think you have some of those already too. Replace 2 of that other crappy enchantment you have with the leyline.
