AmazingGrace15 Deckling

Hi Everyone!

My Magic experience started when my brother bought me a 2003 World Championship deck. Sure, it may not be the best way to start playing, but I loved that deck. That deck ignited a love for artifacts that is unparalleled to any other card type.

Somehow, I got away from it--whether it was my lack of maturity to admire a game so wonderfully crafted or my lack of intellectual competence to handle such an intricate masterpiece. I just recently got back into Magic, and it is the most beautifully nostalgic experience I've ever had. I regret all those years of neglecting my cards, leaving them to collect dust in a tattered cardboard box. Now that I've come back to Magic, I couldn't be happier. For lack of a better phrase, I feel like I've returned home.

I play casually with my friend group, really just EDH. As much as I love to play, I love deck building even more. I love the amount of work and passion it takes to build a good deck, and I love to brainstorm with people. I have a lot of catching up to do from all those years I wasn't playing, so I'm always open to suggestions!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page!

I agree with what Dislavano-Dislavo said, I highly recommend Kindred Discovery and Herald's Horn, as those are some good ways for card draw. Another good tribal card is Kindred Boon, as you can make your little dudes indestructible. You could also look into Heroic Intervention as a combo for your little dudes as well: cast Wrath and then at instant speed cast heroic intervention, and swing with your kithkin.

I'm not a huge fan of fog effects, but that's just me--they can be pretty useful, especially since you have a bunch of little dudes. If you find they aren't performing the way you want to, you can always add more shenanigans. Speaking of shenanigans, Fortunate Few is a good board wipe. You might want to look in to more artifact/enchantment removal, such as Return to Dust or Naturalize. I also know you have a Mirari's Wake, which is usually a staple in all G/W decks, and could be very useful.

Great Start!

Thanks for the suggestions TupaCuba! I appreciate it. I do like Mirri's Guile a lot, and of course Sylvan Library. I'll see if I can fit them in--but they are a little on the expensive side for my current budget. Thank you!
