What happens when someone plays Sylvan Awakening and then another player plays Ixidron

Asked by Redcat7264 4 years ago

When something is a morph it loses all other card types so if I played Ixidron after my opponent plays Sylvan Awakening do they still become lands at the beginning of that players next turn?

A face down permanent on the battlefield is always a colorless 2/2 creature with no mana cost, no other types, and no abilities (unless of course another effect specifically gives it a color/ability/etc.). When Sylvan Awakening 's effect wears off, your opponent's land cards will still be face down 2/2 creatures. They won't be lands and they won't have any mana abilities.
