What do I need to say verbally to make a copy of a creature using Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker at End of Turn but have the copy live until next turn?

Asked by Arorsthrar 8 years ago

I have Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Wall of Omens on the battlefield. I want to activate Kiki-Jiki on my turn, but I want to have the token stick around for next turn. How do I express that I am copying my Wall of Omens in a way that it will not be sacrificed at EOT? (Note: I know this interaction works, I just want to know how to formally express this so I don't misspeak and have this cost me at an IQ)

Say "During my end step, I activate Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker's ability, making X copies of Wall of Omens.

Since the beginning of the end step has already come and gone, the DTA's that are put on the copies of the Wall cannot retroactively trigger, nor can the game "rewind" back to the beginning of the end step, so they will wait to trigger at the next "beginning of the end step".
