Vessel of Nascency and Bala Ged Recovery Flip

If I've sacrificed my Vessel of Nascency and dug up a Bala Ged Recovery  ^Flip, can I put it into my hand?

No, you can't reveal Bala Ged Recovery  ^Flip off of Vessel of Nascency.

By default, the characteristics of a modal double-faced card are the characteristics of the front face. In this case, Bala Ged Recovery  ^Flip is a sorcery. It will only be considered a land card when it's back-face is up while on the battlefield.
