Temur Battle Rage on Anax and Cymede

So, Temur Battle Rage has a ferocious, and Anax and Cymede has a heroic that would put its power from 3 to 4. Would the Ferocious activate if you targeted Anax and Cymede? (This also is for other Ferocious abilities)

"Activate" is used only in relation to activated abilities. Activation is also a manual process. Things don't activate on their own.

Ferocious is an ability word. This means that the whole ability is stated in the rules and the word "ferocious" is just a reminder. So in this case the heroic the heroic trigger would resolve first and make Anax and Cymede have 4 power. Thus they would get double strike and trample.
