Taigam, Ojutai Master trigger help

Building a 2DH deck with Taigam and want to build him kinda how Shu Yun would work. But if I voltron him while he is attacking, before blockers, will he get the rebound trigger?

Effects that care about whether a creature "attacked" are based on whether or not a creature was declared as an attacker at the beginning of the Declare Attackers step of combat. As long as you've done that, the creature "attacked".

The moment you say "I attack with Taigam, Ojutai Master" and turn him sideways to attack, all your instant and sorcery spells you cast from your hand gain rebound.
