Soulfire Grand Master & Mass Burn

If I have a Soulfire Grand Master in play, and cast a mass burn spell like Anger of the Gods, does it still get the lifelink effect before it dies?

Note that creatures don't die during the resolution of Anger of the Gods. A creature with lethal damage marked on it dies as a state-based action, and SBAs are not performed during resolutions. They check after a spell or ability has completely resolved. Therefore, Soulfire Grand Master will be on the battlefield during the entirety of Anger of the Gods's resolution.

Yes, lifelink modifies how the damage is dealt, you gain the life as the damage is being dealt, so you not only still get the lifegain, you've already gotten it before Soulfire Grand Master even leaves the battlefield.
