Remove spell from the stack before Hive Mind trigger resolves?

If for whatever reason I cast a spell while Hive Mind is in play, and before Hive Mind's triggered ability resolves, the spell that other players are due to copy is no longer on the stack, is Hive Mind still able to give my opponent's copies of that spell?

For example, if I also have Dovescape in play, and I stack the triggers such that Dovescape counters the spell before Hive Mind's ability resolves, then does Hive Mind still make copies of the spell even though it's no longer on the stack?

Hive Mind will still make copies in the scenario described. Hive Mind doesn't target the spell it triggers off of (so the ability doesn't get countered), so it will still create copies of that spell as it last existed on the stack.
