Question about how Reiterate works in eggs.
Asked by 2gherkins 8 years ago
Would it be possible to cast a Faith's Reward, buyback Reiterate, then sacrifice all of your stuff, let the Faith's Reward resolve, get your stuff back, reiterate goes to hand, and you only have the copy of Faith's Reward on the stack?
The stack works like this:
1. You cast Faith's Reward
2. you cast Reiterate targeting Faith's Reward
3. Reiterate resolves putting Faith's Reward's copy on stack and Reiterate in your hand
4. Faith's Reward's copy resolves
5. Faith's Reward resolves.
In between each step, each player will have a round of priority to use instants or abilities, and those instants and abilities will resolve before the next step. For instance, say in between 4 and 5 you have sac outlets and you use them. Any triggered or activated abilities for those will happen before #5.

The stack works Last In First Out (LIFO) so no it is not possible to do that as you have described. If you have a board full of instant speed sac effects what you could do is:
Cast Faith's Reward
Cast Reiterate with buyback
Resolve Reiterate (remember LIFO) putting the copy of Faith's Reward on the stack.
Sac all your stuff
Resolve the copy of Faith's Reward
Only have the original Faith's Reward on the stack.
