Myr Superion manifest flip.

So, if I manifest Myr Superion, do I still have to use "creature mana" to turn him up? I'm guessing no, 'cause I'm not casting it, right?

You are entirely correct. Manifest and unmorph are special actions. They are not casting the spell. Similarly, you cannot delve to reduce the cost of a manifested creature (I recently learned that, can be useful in Limited)
