If Bosh sacs himself.

I would like some clarification on timing for this. If Bosh, Iron Golem sacs himself to deal 8 damage, is there any issue to do with him not being on the field as the ability resolves? I wonder because it says he deals the damage.

There's no problem there. Even though the source is "missing," the ability will still allow it to deal damage. The ability will use Bosh's last known information (the state in which it existed just before it left the battlefield, including abilities such as deathtouch or lifelink) to determine how to handle the damage.

This is also how cards like Mogg Fanatic work.
