Does Metallic Mimic trigger Thalia's Lieutenant?

Would Metallic Mimic etb give Thalia's Lieutenant her +1/+1 counter, or does it become a human after etb?

It enters the battlefield as a human, assuming that's what you choose. This is because it's a replacement effect shown by "As Metallic Mimic enters the battlefield [...]" If it said "When Metallic Mimic enters the battlefield [...]" it would be a triggered ability and would not trigger Thalia's Lieutenant.
