Does "Entwine" count toward CMC?

My opponent has a Gaddock Teeg in play. Can I cast a Journey of Discovery with Entwine?

CMC is the total of the mana symbols printed in the top right of a card (or along the left side of the art on Future Sight borders). Additional costs like entwine or alternate costs like overload do not change a card's CMC.
