Daring Thief and Mind Control enteractions

I use Daring Thief to exchange control of a creature I control, enchanted with my own Mind Control. To take my control of my opponents Tarmogoyf. Mind Control, wich I still control, is still stating that I control the creature.
Will I gain control of my own creature again then, or does the "absolute layers" rule or whatever it's called, cancel my Mind Control's ability?

Both of them are the same type of effect; timestamps are all that matters. The more recent one overrides the older one. Mind Control is just a blue aura sitting there after Daring Thief does his work.
