Counterflux overload

Asked by MadScientist 10 years ago

So in my izzet deck build I am utilizing Counterflux .

The question I have is on the overload. Does the overload simply counter ALL spells on the stack?

For example an opponent casts a string of spells together one after another and you wait till priority is passed and cast Counterflux to counter them all.

When does the the overload not work on multiple spells?

The effect does exactly what it says: it counters all spells you don't control that are currently on the stack. Spells that aren't on the stack when Counterflux resolves are unaffected.

The effect is useful against storm (see Grapeshot ) and players who cast multiple spells without passing priority first.
