Commune with the gods

May Commune with the Gods retrieve Whip of Erebos to your hand? I have not been able to find a straight answer on this anywhere.

Yep. Since Commune with the Gods is looking for a card to have a specific quality, in this case having either the creature or enchantment type, so long as a card has at least one of those qualities it can be brought to your hand.
