Combo elves

does this scenario work:

I have a Board full of elves. I declare an attack with Ezuri and a bunch of others and leave Heritage Druid and two other elves untapped. My opponent declares blockers. I respond by tapping Heritage and 2 other elves and tap two forest for 5 mana and use that mana to activate Ezuri Overrun effect to get over my opponents blockers. Does that work?

Ezuri, Renegade Leader

Yes, it does. At the end of the declare blockers step, each player has the opportunity to cast their spells and/or activate their abilities. You may activate Ezuri, Renegade Leader's "Overrun" ability, pumping your creatures before combat damage happens.
