Can two creatures with protection from creatures block each other?

I control a Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts and my opponent controls a Rhox with a Spirit Mantle attached to it, can Rhox block Teysa?

Nope.

Creatures with 'protection from X' cannot be blocked by anything with characteristic X. It doesn't matter what else is true about that creature.

Teysa can't be blocked by creatures. Rhox is a creature. No blocking allowed.
