adaptive automaton and eldrazi temple

if i play Adaptive Automaton can i tap Eldrazi Temple for 2 mana and choose eldrazi for automaton?

Note that you choose the creature type before it enters the battlefield, but after all costs are paid.
Automaton's first ability is a replacement effect that modifies how it enters the battlefield.
You will choose the creature type as the spell is resolving. It will be too late to use the Temple to pay for it, and your opponents cannot respond to your choosing or it entering the battlefield (unless it entering triggered anything).

No. This is because you get to choose the creature type when the Automaton enters the battlefield, which is long after you have cast it and paid all costs (it's after resolution)
