Abilities that don't tap. Can i cast multiple times

So I am running a Green deck centered around +1/+1 counters and with Heroes' Bane , the ability doesn't require it to tap. Can I cast it more than once in a turn. So theoretically could I make it an infinity/infinity creature in one turn if I had the mana?

Yes, you may activate an ability (not cast it) as many times as you can pay for it, unless otherwise said on the card.

Even if a creature has a tap ability, you can use it's abilities multiple times per turn, provided that you can untap it with something (like wiht Quirion Ranger )

By default, you can continue activating the ability so long as you can pay it's cost. If a card has an ability that you can only activate once per turn, It will say that on the card (like on Quirion Ranger )
