Yo, my name's Ave and boy do I have a deal for you!

I currently have in my possession a stamped prerelease Mox Amber. Now I understand that inflation is a thing, but the lowest I will go on the Mox is around $100 trade value. This is because I can see that a regular foil would probably be about $110~ish and I know that stamped cards aren't particularly inviting. However, EDH is a thing and this is a must include for any commander player.

If you're interested, hit me up on my trade page and we can see what we can work out.

WARNING: THIS TRADE IS GOING TO ONLY BE UP FOR A SHORT BIT, AS I AM GOING TO TRY AND GET RID OF IT VIA MY LOCAL GAMESTORE BY GAMEDAY

I don't see how this is a deal at all, because you're trying to sell it for as much, if not more than what other people are selling them for. It's unlikely that it's even going to stay anywhere near that price very long, and I've seen them selling for sub $90. It's nowhere near an auto include for commander because it only works after you already have a Legendary creature or a Planeswalker. As it only produces one mana of one color, it's not even a particularly efficient mana rock because the conditions for turning it on require you to already have a favorable position.

There has only been one foil card in a Standard set that's been even close to $100 and that was Scarab God, when it was THE best card in the format and every deck that could play it was playing it, and any deck playing either color would splash for it.

Good luck

Your local Gamestore will give you $50 tops for it - so good luck with that.

This card basically reads, "I am a commander staple, love me" because it hits the board with your general and immediately puts you ahead. Not to mention if you play any other legendary creatures or even planeswalkers you could get benefit earlier than casting your general. Comparing it to the other Moxs is not fair, seeing as it is probably going to be played in EDH and EDH alone.

Lowest price as of now for it is $98, and the high price is $150. I'm lowballing the price at what I feel is appropriate, seeing as EDH is literally the format I specialize in and the way I see it is that it's an auto include in any deck that doesn't run green or is running more than two colors.

Its being sold on SCG for $90 and TCG mid is $70. Also, the set isnt out yet, which typically inflates the price of cards until they can get tested in deck construction. So if you really think its worth $98 or more, then you should hold onto it until the price goes up to reflect that, instead of trying to trade for more than market value and calling it a deal.

Its not a commander staple. It doesnt do anything if you dont have a legendary creature or planeswalker. And when you do get to use it, congragulations, you have a single extra mana. It is the worst mana rock in the format. And it gets worse the later the game gets because it would be effectively the same as drawing a land. Spoiler: Commander isnt enough to hold an extremely conditional, not altogether meaningful mana rock over even $80
